whats different between pax era vs pax era pro?
The differences between the PAX Era and the PAX Era Pro are subtle, but everywhere. Unfortunately, the most functional upgrades are only through the limited-access app. Cosmetically, the Era Pro has barely rounder edges, a slightly larger light scheme, and comes in four color choices instead of one. The battery has a slightly higher rating, and charges via USB-C.
Changing the temperature without the app is a little easier with the Era Pro, but you’ll need the app to customize the temperature to the degree, and access pod information.

Pax Era Temperature Settings: what are the pre set temperature settings for pax era ™ and pax era pro ™?
The Era Pro has four pre-programmed temperatures, with flashing yellow petals. To go through the temperature settings, remove the pod just enough to unclasp it. Then gently reinsert it until it flashes to show the current temperature. It’s not necessary to fully insert it before clicking it back in after you’ve selected a setting.
1 yellow petal: 520° F | 2 yellow petals: 610° F | 3 yellow petals: 700° F | 4 yellow petals: 790° F
How to use Paxera pro:
The first thing you’ll want to do is charge your Paxera Pro. Plug it in and let it charge until the petals turn blue, which will only take about 45 minutes. Once it’s charged, remove the pax pod just enough to unclasp it. Then gently reinsert it until it flashes to show the current temperature. It’s not necessary to fully insert it before clicking it back in after you’ve selected a setting.
To begin heating your Pax Era Pro , simply inhale on the mouthpiece. Era device will automatically enter standby mode after 30 seconds of inactivity, and can be turned off by holding down the button for two seconds. When you’re ready to vape again, just inhale on the mouthpiece and the PAX Era Pro will heat up instantly.
An oil vaporizer is a device that uses a battery to heat cannabis oil to a vapor which is then inhaled. Compared to smoking, vaporizing maintains more of the terpenes or aromas and minor cannabinoids present. Oil vaporizers like the PAX Era are unique in that they have a rechargeable battery as well as patented temperature control to ensure that oil is heated, never burned.
Oil vaporizers, like the PAX Era and PAX Era Pro, have an air vent that allows for air flow. When you inhale, the air flow activates the atomizer found inside the pod or cartridge. Once activated, the atomizer heats the oil in the pod, turning it into vapor. That vapor travels up to the mouthpiece to be inhaled.

With Era it’s easy. Simply insert a certified oil pod into a charged Era and draw gently to produce the vapor and enjoy. During this process the cartridge, which is filled with oil, heats to a vapor containing concentrated amounts of cannabinoids and terpenes.
If you plan to store any PAX Era device, we recommend removing the pod and ensuring your device is significantly charged.
You can adjust temperature on your Era Pro device using the Pop and Click gesture
- Pop your pod up — no need to take it out all the way.
- Quickly drop your pod back down to advance to the next temperature (no need to push it in completely).
- Do steps 1 and 2 repeatedly to continue cycling through the temperature settings. When you see your desired setting, click the pod back into place. The device will light up and vibrate to confirm the setting
